Meet the Team
Certified Building Contractor Steven Kuharske is a proud second-generation native of South Lake County with a construction career spanning over two decades since 1998. Renowned for his patience, strong leadership, and exceptional skill in executing intricate architectural details, Steven takes a deeply hands-on approach—personally overseeing every aspect of construction to ensure each project meets his exacting standards. His reputation is founded on an unwavering commitment to excellence and a steadfast dedication to delivering on every promise.

Having worked across all facets of the construction industry, Steven discovered early on that custom home building was his true passion. His integrity, honesty, and enthusiasm are the driving forces behind Bay Lake Builders, shaping the company’s culture and success. The strong relationships he builds and the respect he commands throughout the industry are a testament to his character and professionalism.

Outside of work, Steven cherishes time with his wife and two children, enjoying farming, fishing, hunting, and traveling—living a balanced life grounded in family and hard work.
Since graduating from Western Kentucky University in 2004, Dana has held various sales roles, but she discovered her true passion -- working closely with custom home clients. Guiding them through the complexities of the construction-to-permanent loan process, Dana leverages her extensive experience on the business side of construction to streamline the entire custom homebuilding journey—from initial concept and design to lender coordination and loan approval. Her deep understanding of the process allows her to support clients confidently every step of the way.

Dana is also a licensed Real Estate Agent with in-depth knowledge of the Central Florida market. While she’s handled a wide range of real estate transactions, her specialty lies in vacant land contracts. Dana loves helping clients purchase properties where they can bring their dream homes to life.

When she’s not working, Dana enjoys spending time with her husband and children. Her favorite pastimes include fishing, scalloping, traveling with friends, and expanding her expertise in real estate investing.
